L.E.I.3 (LOW ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT - CUBE) a symbolic building in the era of energy saving, this is a clear example of energy saving architecture, for both winter and summer, coupled with a desire to distinguish it from a design point of view. Intended exclusively as a residence, it was designed for a single family. It is characterized by two floors: one above ground and one underground. On the ground floor, the living area opens up with the living room, partially full-height, and a studio with a Wenge parquet flooring that transforms into concrete in the kitchen. There is also a service bathroom and a wardrobe. The first floor is connected by a branched white painted steel staircase and hosts the sleeping area, which includes a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and two other bedrooms, one twin and one single. The flooring is mainly in oiled oak which converts into cement resin in the master bathroom. The double bedroom on the first floor and the studio on the ground floor are wrapped in Tecu Gold metal cladding and contrast in the two entrance cubes from the aquarium windows, highlighted by the remaining candid coat insulation. From the single pitch roof, where the photovoltaic panels are positioned, the galvanized steel expanded metal screens, the drilling percentage of which is designed in such a way as to allow the solar radiation to penetrate in winter and prevent it in summer, fall down resembling a cascade of rainwater. On the outside, the metal reflects on the surfaces resulting in a softer gold than the flooring to close the galvanized steel cube fence.
